To celebrate 50 years of flying at Pipers Field, Bathurst Soaring Club is holding an open day on the 29th Sept. Time 10:00 – 4:30. Make sure you have this in your calendar!

There will be lots of things to do, with displays on the ground and in the air:

Kids can sit in a glider.
You can have an Air Experience Flight. Book your special Open Day discounted flight below
Have fun flying a glider on the NSW Gliding Simulator
There will be a display of historic and modern gliders
A Glider Aerobatics show
A Club history display
The Eglinton Rural Fire Service will bring a current and a historic fire engine
Visiting aircraft displays from the Bathurst Aero Club
Cars on display from the Bathurst Historic Car Club
The Lions Club Mount Panorama will also have their food and coffee van on site

If you want to book an Air Experience Flight (AEF) during the Open Day, please choose the purchase button below with the approximate  timeslot you want your flight. 

Please note:  Because we don’t know exactly how many people will want to fly on Open Day, nor exactly how many flights will be possible (due to weather and other factors) we cannot guarantee your booked flight will take place in the time slot you have booked, or even on the day. Early paid bookings will take precedence and any paid flight not taken on the day can be used on any future weekend.
